Lost and Bound

So many dreams shatter every year,

Lives lost and tears shed,

Coz we can’t step outside the role

Thrusted upon us the moment we were born

Against our wishes.

——–

We are molded to accept it

As our nature and our destiny.

——-

There is no question of not falling in line.

I am the woman: The fairer gender? Homemaker? Caregiver?

You are the man: The stronger gender? Bread winner? Protector?

You can’t cry.

I can’t stop.

——-

There is no question of not falling in line.

So many dreams shatter every year…

  I hope so. My company is making a conscious effort at breaking the bias, both gender based and special abilities. I am part of the Inclusion and Diversity team too.:)

    So glad you are well again. I had gone to my mom’s home for a month and the rule around the house was “no laptop”. I have removed WP app from my phone because it was causing version issues in posts. So, I hardly ever got to post anything. And when I returned, I was caught in an avalanche of work from office and at home. Just trying to breath a little. My daughter has been creating like crazy and I will soon post stuff she has created. 🙂
