Ever since I saw Twilight part 1 (rather tried seeing, I stopped trying after 20 minutes), I found that acting was bad. But I had assumed it was because the actors were kids. That they would improve with time.
But after watching trailer of Twilight part 6, I wonder how it could get worse. They had so many years behind them. Surely, they must have worked… a little?
I have heard better narration by AI generated audio.
Lifeless…
Sans all emotion…
Delivering dialogue while still looking at notes, probably…
And Jacob still doesn’t own a shirt. God, it has been 10+ years. Was he not paid enough?
Author’s note: I am not against turning books into movies: they are not the same but to each his own. All I am saying is to have better actors…but I guess, to each his own!

I agree with you on this one. I thought maybe the acting wasn’t to good because I read the book first. The book in my opinion was much mich better than the movie.

I loved the book. It explains thoughts so Jacob doesn’t feel like a pervert for falling in love with an infant. And Bella doesn’t feel like a depressed psycho with a death wish.

I never read the books, nor watched the films. I don’t think I have missed anything, and you appear to confirm that.
Best wishes, Pete.

Hey John! I would say check the trailers first. I just have had a deep-seated disappointment with the series but my views could be prejudiced because I have read the entire series 8 times

I completely agree with you, dear friend.
Young actors are getting worse and worse. Moreover, in Spain, at least, their diction is terrible—you can barely understand them.
In the past, actors were trained in singing, diction, and dance, in addition to acting. But now, they just pick anyone they happen to like and throw them into movies.
We’re going from bad to worse.
What a shame!
A hug, Shaily.😘🤗🌷

Hug you right back, Yvonne! 🤗 I try not to generalise this issue, because I have seen some amazing pieces of acting in some movies lately. Which gives me hope. I think the issue here was that the director was looking for someone who looked exactly like the characters in the book. It reduces their choices and they settle for just anyone who looks right. But well, the whole series is a blockbuster, so they must have done something right. 😊

“I have to confess that I only watched one episode and didn’t get hooked. Maybe I’m too old for vampires, haha! 😂 I don’t know if you watch series, but there’s one I recently watched on Netflix that captivated me. It’s psychological, and in case you’re interested, it’s called Behind Her Eyes. Wishing you a great day, dear Shaily!”🌷

Honestly, even I never went more than first 20 minutes. They were enough for my sensibility 😂 I don’t watch much movie/TV anyway.

I don’t watch much TV either. It’s getting worse, especially the news. It’s poisoning us. Good night.🌷
